This game lets kids have fun with the story about Peter being questioned about the temple tax. Kids will take turns trying to catch toy fish out of a pool. To win the game, they must catch all the fish with coins taped to them before they catch too many fish without coins.

Materials
- OPTION 1 – Purchase a fishing game that includes a small pool, toy fish and fishing poles with magnets
- OPTION 2 – Create your own fishing game
- Fishing pole (use a dowel rod or stick)
- String (about 3 feet long)
- Magnets (25 small ones)
- Toy or paper fish (24 – see the end of this lesson for printable fish – print 2 copies)
- Small kid’s pool (alternatively, you can just put the fish on the ground)
- Tape
- Coins (8 – any denomination)
- Bible
